"New markets represent a significant element of our strategy", explains Daniel Caesar, responsible for the company's strategic setup. As the "big players" of the German market already collaborate with XXLPIX, the company now focuses on expansion Europe-wide. "Our distribution office in Spain is a very perspective step for us. Because medium and long term it is our access to the whole Spanish-speaking part of the world." Until then, the company plans to knot the retailer net in the iberian area as tight as the distribution network in Germany. In doing so, it will be very important in the beginning to gain experience about the specific existential orientation of the Spanish market.
Distribution from Granada is managed by Felix Hohmann, who joined the company only recently. Felix Hohmann is engaged in the photo sector since many years and brings his excellent contacts to the Spanish economy into the business. "The products and services of XXLPIX are perfectly in line with the Spanish market" - that's what the new sales director for Spain is sure of. Inside this culture area, family and relations play still a major role. Therefore, high-value photo products are always in demand.
Felix Hohmann anticipates the development for commercial resellers as particular positive. It is arising from first surveys among photographers and retailers that there is already strong interest. "The B2B sales channel gives us the ability to grow fast and widely ramified in Spain and also gives us safety." Thus, the new subsidary's objectives are rather ambitious: it is planned to have already contracted 500 resellers by the end of 2006.

With the implementation of SAP-supported processes it was possible to halve production time by workflow-optimised job processing. The complete order processing is accelerated by the simultaneous connection of partners through web interfaces, so that over 90% of individual products can be delivered within 24 hours of the order.
02.08.2006 - Berlin/Homburg - The companies XXLPIX and Personello will collaborate in distribution in the future. Both companies are manufacturers of photo products and supply the photo industry as well as leading online photo vendors. The cooperation lends both of them a higher market penetration.
