XXLPIX - leading supplier for the photographic trade

16.02.2007 - Berlin - XXLPIX is Europe's leading service provider for Canvas Photos in the photographic trade. With the product XXL Canvas Photo the company has succeeded in establishing a brand on the market and in acquiring over 1200 integrated retailers in one year.

Wherever someone in Germany goes to a specialised photographer today to buy their own photos on canvas it is extremely probable that they will come across an XXLPIX product. Because the company has succeeded in becoming Europe's market leader through consistent support for the specialist trade and the provision of sales promotion measures. Today, the brand is offered in over 1200 specialised stores and photographic studios in Germany.

Although 53% of all orders still come from Germany, Managing Director Daniel Cäsar sees a completely new challenge facing the company: "By the end of 2007 we intend to have twice as many customers from other European countries than from our home market in Germany. This means for us guaranteeing our high service level in eight European languages". A major challenge for the young company, which it is meeting by creating new jobs.

"2007 will be the year in which we extend our German market penetration to cover the whole European market" states the XXLPIX Managing Director confidently. The company is aiming for over 3500 retailers in Europe by the end of 2007. According to the partner management, these resellers will be acquired not only through the company's own marketing department but also together with multipliers. Cäsar is optimistic as far as achieving the goal is concerned: negotiations with sales partners are already in full swing.

07.06.2009 - By version 5.0 of XXLPIX BusinessManager, the online ordering and business administration system used by photographers, photography studios and stock photo agencies, XXLPIX extends their online software solutions for business customers significantly.

28.01.2007 - Berlin - XXLPIX, one of the fastest growing service providers in the European photographic trade uses SAP software to control the supply chain. With the implementation of SAP-supported processes it was possible to halve production time by workflow-optimised job processing. The complete order processing is accelerated by the simultaneous connection of partners through web interfaces, so that over 90% of individual products can be delivered within 24 hours of the order.

02.08.2006 - Berlin/Homburg - The companies XXLPIX and Personello will collaborate in distribution in the future. Both companies are manufacturers of photo products and supply the photo industry as well as leading online photo vendors. The cooperation lends both of them a higher market penetration.

14.07.2006 - Berlin/Granada - XXLPIX is focussing on expansion and builds up european distribution subsidaries. In July 2006, the Spanish office in Granada opens up and will at first deal with the iberian area from there and the worldwide Spanish-speaking part later on.

04.06.2006 - Berlin - XXLPIX offers a new customer service: as of today, end customers can gather information about the product XXL Canvas Photo online and find a specialised dealer nearby. Photographers and photo retailers may register as specialised dealer for free and provide a detailed service profile about themselves.

28.03.2006 - Berlin - XXLPIX, leading manufacturer and vendor of Canvas Photos, is going live with a new integration platform today, which enables co-operation partners to include the Canvas Photo into their sales lines - without having to deal with noteworthy inteferences in their own systems.
