Cooperation between German photo gift vendor Personello and XXLPIX

02.08.2006 - Berlin/Homburg - The companies XXLPIX and Personello will collaborate in distribution in the future. Both companies are manufacturers of photo products and supply the photo industry as well as leading online photo vendors. The cooperation lends both of them a higher market penetration.

Both XXLPIX and Personello take a leading market position in trading photo products. Both companies supply the online retail market well directed, which denotes high growth rates in the sector of photo processing. "Since there is no overlapping in the product portfolio between Personello and us, a cooperation with Personello is nearly perfect for both of us", says Daniel Caesar, who is managing the strategic setup of XXLPIX. Like that, for customers of XXLPIX and Personello it's now a one-stop experience to browse and buy from the whole product spectrum of both vendors. This is achieved by a crosswise technical integration of items, each into the other distribution system.

While Personello is including a trend product with a strong margin into its sales line by the XXL Canvas Photo, the shop system of Personello makes small and medium resellers accessible for XXLPIX. In return, XXLPIX enables Personello to international distribution towards major customers. In addition, Personello's products will be integrated into the specialised trade platform for photographers and retail. This service for photographers is - no more than 4 month after its founding - already used by over 600 registered resellers. The Personello shop system is used by more than 1000 partners today.

07.06.2009 - By version 5.0 of XXLPIX BusinessManager, the online ordering and business administration system used by photographers, photography studios and stock photo agencies, XXLPIX extends their online software solutions for business customers significantly.

16.02.2007 - Berlin - XXLPIX is Europe's leading service provider for Canvas Photos in the photographic trade. With the product XXL Canvas Photo the company has succeeded in establishing a brand on the market and in acquiring over 1200 integrated retailers in one year.

28.01.2007 - Berlin - XXLPIX, one of the fastest growing service providers in the European photographic trade uses SAP software to control the supply chain. With the implementation of SAP-supported processes it was possible to halve production time by workflow-optimised job processing. The complete order processing is accelerated by the simultaneous connection of partners through web interfaces, so that over 90% of individual products can be delivered within 24 hours of the order.

14.07.2006 - Berlin/Granada - XXLPIX is focussing on expansion and builds up european distribution subsidaries. In July 2006, the Spanish office in Granada opens up and will at first deal with the iberian area from there and the worldwide Spanish-speaking part later on.

04.06.2006 - Berlin - XXLPIX offers a new customer service: as of today, end customers can gather information about the product XXL Canvas Photo online and find a specialised dealer nearby. Photographers and photo retailers may register as specialised dealer for free and provide a detailed service profile about themselves.

28.03.2006 - Berlin - XXLPIX, leading manufacturer and vendor of Canvas Photos, is going live with a new integration platform today, which enables co-operation partners to include the Canvas Photo into their sales lines - without having to deal with noteworthy inteferences in their own systems.
